Self-knowledge is self-care. Understanding ourselves should not be a luxury, it is knowledge we should all have access to. By using ancient practices like Astrology and Tarot for the modern world we can take that power firmly back into our own hands. I set up Lux Readings because if recent years have taught us anything it’s that simple pleasures and discovering joy has to come from within us if it is to be sustainable and stable. It's vital for our well-being that we have as much agency in our lives as possible. With self-knowledge, we can create a life we have fully chosen or at least set ourselves on the right path.
I’ll let you into a secret; there is no magic in Tarot or Astrology, YOU are the magic. For years these ancient toolkits have been misused and wrapped in layers of impenetrable mysticism rather than utilised as they were intended; wonderful ways to understand yourself holistically. With Lux Readings I simply offer these practices as blueprints to our own nature. Like a personality test without all the pesky multiple-choice questions to wade through. The real purpose of an ancient system like Astrology or Tarot is not to baffle you with mysticism but to give you a deeper knowledge of your own fundamental nature and in turn access to your most powerful self simply by knowing yourself better. Self-knowledge is self-care, with deeper self-understanding we can choose our way more wisely.

I am not going to claim these readings will mysteriously solve all your worries or miraculously give you all the answers you seek, that is for you to do. What they will provide is an insight into yourself to help you on your journey. They will illuminate a way of viewing the world through your own lens that will empower you to make the best decisions for your happiness and your life’s trajectory. It really is as simple as that.
